Getting prepared for JAN session

I've been thinking of documenting my journey to MIT SDM (System Design and Management) for long and it feels good to finally get on to blogger and key in my thoughts.

I got my admit letter from MIT in AUG 2007 and then there was wait/debate/decision between this program and others which I was looking at, its a never ending debate between MS or MBA, MIT or some other top school. Finally I decided to put my money on MIT-SDM program and the journey began....

I'm getting ready for the JAN session which they call "Boot-camp" in SDM. Room has been booked for the month of JAN and all travel arrangements have been finished. I'm excited about going back to school but also sober about the fact that its a start of two year commitment which will take a lot out of me. At the end I expect it to be a rewarding experience - intellectually and personally.

I'll key in my experience from time to time in this diary and expect it to give insight to folks looking at this program from outside.
